The Story

The Nauticam WWL-1 wide wet lens has an equivalent weight underwater of 620 grams / 21.9 ounces

With the buoyancy collar mounted, the equivalent weight is reduced to 160 grams / 5.6 ounces.

The WWL-1 is supplied with a neoprene dome cover. The neoprene cover CANNOT be used satisfactorily on the WWL-1 when the buoyancy collar is installed. The Nauticam Hard Cap for WWL-1 may be used with, or without, the buoyancy collar installed, and was designed as a replacement for the neoprene cover when using the system with this buoyancy collar.

When using the WWL-1 with the buoyancy collar the hard cap is the best way to protect the glass, as the neoprene cover that originally comes with the WWL-1 will not fi correctly once the buoyancy collar is installed. Therefore it is highly recommended to purchase both the hard cap and the buoyancy collar as a set when considering these items.
